A dynamic Stroud organisation requires a Management Accountant on a permanent basis to take ownership for the month-end reporting function. The culture of the company is supportive and encourages people to look for improvements and there are opportunities to make a notable difference.

Role responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• P&L review with commentary relating to any variances
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accruals
• Provide variance analysis and information to budget-holders
• Oversight of monthly payroll
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process
• Provide analytical support to the senior management team

Candidate background

• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent) with experience gained within management accounts
• Experience of preparing journals, prepayments and accruals and balance sheet recs
• Able to look at a P&L and review accordingly and draw conclusions
• Good level of Excel skills
• Has a positive, can-do attitude
• Can work at pace in a high change environment
