Salary :  £12.21–£13.50 per hour DOE

Role Overview

My client is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Retail & Parts Sales Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will support the daily operation of the retail showroom, assisting customers with sales of parts, hardware, clothing , and groundcare equipment .

Reporting to the Parts & Retail Manager, you will provide product advice, process orders, manage showroom stock, and support the service department by sourcing parts. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth customer experience both in-person and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the sale of parts, accessories, and equipment within the retail showroom
• Provide excellent customer service, answering queries face-to-face and by phone
• Support internal technicians by identifying and sourcing required parts
• Receive, unpack, and distribute goods and customer orders accurately
• Maintain an organised and well-presented showroom environment
• Handle payments via cash, card, and cheque with accuracy
• Contribute to sales targets through proactive customer engagement
• Use initiative to support the team and ensure smooth daily operations
