Overview

Chelsea FC is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to support the day-to-day operations of our Partnerships department. This role is central to ensuring our commercial team runs efficiently and delivers consistently high standards across all partner-facing activity.

You’ll be working closely with the Director of Partnerships and wider team to manage key administrative and operational tasks; from coordinating meetings and briefings to supporting onboarding, reporting, and travel logistics. The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including regular weekend commitments.

This is a hands-on position within a high-performing team, offering exposure to the inner workings of a Premier League club and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our partner relationships. Purpose of the Role :

Support the day-to-day management and delivery of the Partnership department, ensuring all administrative and organisational tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Role Dimensions

  • Reports to Director, Partnerships
  • Primary focus on supporting the Partnership department deliver all administrative and organisational tasks
  • Wider Department and Club support for other team members as required
  • This role requires extensive weekend work in the UK and consequently flexibility in working hours will be required

Principal Accountabilities

Partnership Department

Support the Director of Partnerships and department members to deliver all administrative and organizational tasks that include but are not limited to :

  • Operational : work proactively to ensure operational efficiency across the Partnerships Team
  • Executive Engagement : ensure the Executive CRM is updated daily and being used to deliver value back to the Club
  • Onboarding : support the onboarding of all new partners and employee hires to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience
  • Commercial : work closely with the wider Commercial department support functions to ensure good collaboration
  • Meetings : ensure all meetings (internal & external) are booked with necessary stakeholders, with clear agenda, minutes and next steps circulated
  • Briefings : ensure that all briefing documents are completed to the necessary standards and supplied on time to key stakeholders
  • Reports : ensure all reporting documents are being filled in, completed and supplied to key stakeholders on time
  • Gifting : lead and deliver our annual gifting programme across all Partner accounts
  • Travel : support the Partnerships Team with all travel requests, bookings and changes
  • Finance : reconcile and report in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure PO’s, Invoices and Expenses are managed in line with Club policies
  • Team : support the Partnerships Team on an ad-hoc basis to ensure Partner administration is being completed to the necessary standards and on time
  • IT : ensure all IT is working to the standards required to deliver effective partner servicing
  • Important note : Build trust and confidence by developing a good understanding of Chelsea’s business strategies and objectives
  • Team Management

  • Ability to work cross departmental and cross group collaboration
  • Support in the delivery and establishment of regular partner reporting procedures internally and externally to track delivery of partner KPIs

  • Assist colleagues within the Partnership team with collective tasks and administration or additional duties as required
  • Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous experience working in an Executive Assistant or supporting department role
  • Understanding of partnership marketing activities, sponsorship, brand / product marketing, sales and communications campaigns
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills – verbal and written with an eye and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, both sport and entertainment
  • Good working knowledge of IT packages (e.g. MS Office suite)
  • Fluent in English. Other languages would be an advantage
