Job description

Location : Action Mental Health, Central Office, Newtownards Salary : £25,865-£27,847 (Under Review) Hours : 35 per week - Monday to Thursday 9.00am-5.00pm, Friday 9.00am-4.00pm. (The post holder will occasionally be required to work evenings and at weekends to meet the requirements of the role) The Role : The overall purpose of the post is to deliver a year round programme of communications and content to : Help raise the profile of Action Mental Health and our core services Support Action Mental Healths fundraising & events Support and develop Action Mental Healths online and offline marketing materials and platforms Raise awareness of mental health amongst key audiences Support Action Mental Healths campaigning and lobbying work You will have (essential) : RQF level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject Experience in working in a Communications, Marketing or Content development role Proven writing skills for a variety of media and diverse audiences Ability to use IT including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel Ability to use the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar package Experience in developing and producing multimedia content Experience in the use of WordPress or similar content management systems. Experience of working on events Experience in delivering on publicity strategies & campaigns A full current driving licence and access to a car is essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence Skills : Marketing communications internal communications fundraising Events Social Media Marketing Media Relations
