SENIOR HEALTHCARE ASSISTANTS- DAY SHIFTS
The Home is a purpose-built 46 -bed residential care home located within the Stockton-on-Tees area ,specialises in residential care, dementia and stroke-related care
Our qualified nursing team are available 24 hours a day to provide medical and other forms of specialised support. Respecting older people and recognising each resident as a unique individual, our nurses provide not just high-quality nursing skills, but truly person-centred care.
Due to the location is desirable to be driver and have own transportation
Job Types : Permanent, Full-time, hours : 33- 44 per week
Salary : £13.20-£13.44 per hour depending on experience.
Please NOTE we are not able to provide sponsorship, we do need only care assistants able to work full-time

Responsabilities include :
Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily livingAssist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritualProvide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignityObserve care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructedAssist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care CentreAnswer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as requiredAnswer the door and telephone appropriatelyRespond accordingly, and pass on messages promptlyReport on well-being of ResidentsClean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etcRequirements for the role
Ability to communicate effectively at all levelsPrevious experience of working with the relevant Service User group as Senior Healthcare assistant for at lease 6 monthsNVQ3 in Health and Social Care and medication training for a Senior role is mandatory o have itTeam playerDriving license and own car is desirableAbility to work on own initiativePrevious experience of working with the relevant Service User group as Senior Healthcare assistantTo have the right to work in the UK and don't need sponsorshipLive in the area and able to commute easilyQualifications
