The role holder will take a lead role in driving growth within the projects business and maintaining a regular flow of orders. Working closely with international sales teams and the project engineering department to ensure the most efficient system to tailor bids, using technical, commercial and people leadership skills to ensure the applications engineering team provide optimum value and the highest ratio of bid to project reward .

This business offers complex engineering solutions to several sectors, including significant support to the oil and gas sector. The Applications Engineering Manager will liaise, communicate and influence on an international basis with sales teams, customers and internal team members, ensuring the business continue to hit key KPIs around RFQ submissions, cost accuracy and bid quality, whilst mentoring and coaching the applications engineering team reach their full potential
