SEND Specialist Tutor

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support and individuals with SEND.

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced SEND Specialist Tutor to provide 1 : 1 support to a Year 8 student based in St Helens.

Due to the nature of the support, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN - particularly ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Sensory needs.

Start date - ASAP

End date - Ongoing

Contract type - Temporary

Full time / part time - Part time and full time depending on availability

Hourly rate : £30.00

Hours - 25 hours p / wExperience, Training and Qualifications :

QTS or equivalent

Have experience working with SEND students

UK classroom teaching experience

Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxTo be eligible for this role, you must :

Hold the right to work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child-related references.Other
