To provide comprehensive medical secretarial and administrative service to clinicians and other members of the multi professional teams contributing to the efficient day to day running of the service.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of allocated waiting lists.

Contribute and support the Radiology directorate in the delivery of agreed waiting times. Monitor and effect changes to the appointment times / systems to ensure all patients achieve their agreed waiting times. Collaborate with Clinical colleagues to ensure compliance with agreed waiting times.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
