The role
We're looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team and to ensure Southern Housing offices are safe, compliant, well managed and presentable workplaces, for our staff, visitors and contractors.
This role reports to Head of Facilities, and you will maintain office and building compliance within current legislation, following Southern Housing policies and procedures. Furthermore, you will ensure Facilities Management are providing a service that delivers towards our commitment to equality and diversity.
Managing a team of Facilities Officer, you will drive high team performance, and role model a culture which aligns with our HEART values. You will work with contractors, as well as manage and deliver planned and reactive maintenance works / projects as required ensuring they are carried out to optimum standard and follow value for money (VFM) principles. Additionally, you will support internal customers by providing outstanding customer service while ensuring the facilities and working environment are to the required standard for colleagues to perform their roles effectively.
This role will not be based in one office 5 days per week. A flexible approach is required with typical scenarios to include working in our Farringdon and Croydon offices, along with visiting office locations across the Southern Housing geographical footprint when required.
