Amour Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Agent on behalf of our well-established client based in Midhurst. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction and working with regular, repeat customers in a trade environment.
This is a newly created role, offered on a temporary basis initially.
As a Customer Service Agent, you will be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional service from enquiry through to delivery.
Duties will include :
Handling incoming customer calls
Dealing with regular repeat customers and building strong working relationships
Updating customers on delivery times and turnaround schedules
Calling customers back with quotes and following up on quotations
Managing customer returns and resolving queries efficiently
Liaising with internal teams to ensure orders are processed smoothly
The Ideal Candidate
Previous customer service experience (merchant or trade background desirable)
Confident and professional telephone manner
Well organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Full UK driving licence preferred due to location
