Trusts Manager

Location : Kidderminster

Hours : Full Time

Term : Permanent

I am working with a well-established professional services firm that is looking to add an experienced Trusts Manager to its growing team. The Role :

As a Trusts Manager , you will be part of a dedicated team, working alongside experienced professionals within a wider Private Client division . This role is well-suited to someone with a strong background in trust matters , excellent technical knowledge, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Managing a caseload of trust matters of varying complexity, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Handling IHT, CGT, and Income Tax in relation to trust management.
  • Overseeing the registration of trusts , preparation of Trust Accounts and Estate Tax Returns .
  • Assisting in the investment of trust funds and liquidation of trust assets .
  • Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the Trusts Team to ensure smooth operations and ongoing development.

What They Are Looking For :

  • Experience handling Trust matters , including tax-related aspects ( IHT, CGT, and Income Tax ).
  • Background in a legal or professional services environment (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills .
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills , with proficiency in Microsoft Office .
  • A qualified solicitor, ACA, or AAT (preferred but not essential).
