Location : KidderminsterDepartment : ESSContract Type : PermanentTo provide a flexible support service to a young adult male with cerebral palsy. Acting in an enabling capacity, the role will include some personal care but will mostly involve supporting the client to access the community and social events of his choosing. He enjoys going out socially, shopping, music, reality TV shows and has a great sense of humour.The role requires sensitivity to the clients needs (and those of his family) and to work in partnership with therapists and other professionals, to meet his needs and to support in his therapeutic progression.Candidate must be willing to support with holidays to the clients holiday home in South Wales.Previous experience working in a care environment is essential.Hours of work : 36 hours per week to include days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins Rates of Pay : £14 per hour weekdays and weekends£12.21 per hour sleep-insA full driving licence is essential.
