Cover Supervisor Opportunity – Bushey

Location : Bushey, Hertfordshire

Start Date : ASAP

Contract : Full-time or Part-time, Temporary to Permanent

Salary : £90 to £135 per day (dependent on experience)

Supply Desk is looking for reliable and proactive Cover Supervisors to support a range of excellent schools across Bushey. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and want to gain valuable experience supporting classroom management and learning across different settings. Flexible full-time or part-time hours are available, with the role initially temporary and the potential to become permanent.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classes effectively
  • Confidence in supervising students and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a professional attitude
  • Experience working in schools is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to follow lesson plans and support teaching staff as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and safe
  • Support the delivery of lesson plans and assist pupils where appropriate
  • Manage behaviour effectively and uphold school policies
  • Report on student engagement and any issues to teaching staff
  • Adapt to different school environments and age groups as required
