Job Title : Finishing Foreman Carlisle (Office Refurb | National Grid Substation)

Location : Carlisle, Cumbria

Rate : £240£260 per day (DOE)

Duration : Ongoing until end of 2025

Expenses : Up to £65 / night accommodation allowance if staying away

A leading national contractor is looking for a Finishing Foreman to join their team on a long-term infrastructure project in Carlisle. This role will focus on the internal office fit-out within a National Grid substation, requiring a hands-on, proactive individual whos comfortable managing trades while still working on the tools.

Role Overview :

This is not a clipboard role youll be expected to lead by example on-site. Youll be working closely with site management and will take ownership of all internal finishing elements to ensure a clean, high-quality handover.

Key Responsibilities :

Hands-on delivery of finishing works including joinery, snagging, minor repairs, fitting, and detailing.

Supervision of finishing trades (carpenters, decorators, M&E final fix, etc.).

Direct involvement with the installation of fixtures, fittings, doors, skirtings, ceilings, and partitions.

Ensuring the quality of workmanship meets client and spec requirements.
