As a Hire Manager based in Livingston you’ll be responsible for :

Increasing our on-hire activity.

Being proactive and reaching out to existing and prospective customers.

Maintaining detailed records and having an attention to detail.

Responding to customer queries re sales and hire equipment

Putting quotes together for hire sales and repairs and tracking the quotes

Maintaining and checking records of live hires and fleet locations

Liaising with the Operations Supervisor with setting priorities for the team regarding breakdowns, deliveries, collections and plant transfers

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm.

And here’s what we’d like you to have :

Previous industry experience within machinery hire would be very beneficial

Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

A strong work ethic and be happy making and receiving telephone calls rather than relying on email communication.

Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships
