Our client is a well-established manufacturing firm who have been around for over 50 years, they have a family friendly feel with events for the staff and an excellent staff retention rate. They supply the largest firms in there specialised field and these are some of the biggest firms in the UK. Now is a great time to join a firm with a strong order book.

The role

The day to day duties of the role are as a CNC Turner you will be involved in programming, setting and operating the lathes with HAAS or FANUC controls. It will require inspection of the components.

Pay / Shifts / Perks

The role is on a permanent day shift with an early finish on a Friday.

Pay is between £16 and £20 per hour with it depending on your level of programming experience

The firm can offer excellent training with different control systems.

What is required from you?

• Be available to work permanent days and be flexible with overtime if need
• Experience of setting / operating and programming using HAAS or FANUC although other controls will be considered
• Experience of Inspecting your own work using Mechanical inspection equipment
• Be happy to do batch work and one offs
• Apprentice trained qualified machinists
• Be an experienced CNC Turner
