Job descriptionDevelop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and objectives aligned with company goals. Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Lead internal and external audits; coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and service teams to drive defect prevention, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives Oversee incoming inspection, in-process quality control, and final product inspection / testing. Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics (e.g., defect rates, yield, customer complaints). Collaborate with engineering on product design reviews, validation, and testing requirements.
Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading packaging equipment and consumables business that has an exciting new position for a Quality Manager to oversee all aspects of quality management within the organization and ensure that products, processes, and systems meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
You will lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
On offer
- Salary will be circa £55K to £60K + Bonus
- 25 leave days + 8 bank holidays
- Hybrid working (3 days at the Norfolk based site)
