Senior Machine Learning Engineer.

London (in-office, with some flexibility)

We’re working with a London-based, VC-backed AI startup founded by operators from some of the world’s best-known tech brands. Backed by top investors and already seeing customer demand, this is an opportunity to join at the very beginning and shape a product set to redefine how software is built in the age of AI.

This isn’t another “AI engineer” role plugging into APIs. You’ll be building intelligence from the ground up - designing and scaling systems that can think, explore, and learn in complex, unpredictable environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architecting and scaling intelligent systems that can explore, adapt, and improve in real-world applications.
• Taking reinforcement learning and related methods out of papers and into production — from prototype to deployed systems.
• Working end-to-end : researching approaches, implementing models, optimising performance, and ensuring reliability at scale.
• Shaping technical direction in collaboration with the founders, while setting engineering best practices for future hires.
• Working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where shipping and iterating quickly is the priority.

Final interview with both founders (in London)

This role is London-based and as such I’m purely limiting my search to this area. Unfortunately this role cannot offer visa / sponsorship now or in the future.
