About The Role

TFG Brands is an ambitious and forward thinking Retail Group. From our arrival in the UK in 2015, we have grown to a group of iconic brands operating across the UK and in eight other international destinations. You may not know us but you will know our iconic brands, Phase Eight, Whistles, Hobbs, and Inside Story. We are excited about our future which includes further brand extensions and the acquisition / launch of new brands into our portfolio. None of this is possible without great people though and we would love for you to be part of our journey. We are really keen to hire a Financial Accountant to join our team in NW1.

The Financial Accountant will deliver on the following key roles and responsibilities

• Maintain and update the IFRS16 database (Innervisions) on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Post monthly IFRS 16 journals in all ledgers across the group
• Update IFRS16 monthly notes in statutory format
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Key contact for the Group and any local audit teams, responsible for managing the overall process and ensuring all deadlines are met
• Assist in preparing and updating any technical accounting memos
• Assist with the preparation of audit documentation and responding to audit queries
• Statutory Accounts preparation :
• Preparing statutory accounts for trading, dormant, and international entities.
• Companies House Submission : Submit statutory accounts to Companies House across the group (UK).
