Join our dynamic team as a Senior Python Web Engineer. We are in search of an experienced web engineer who demonstrates a deep understanding of client needs and possesses the expertise to architect and implement optimal solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a highly motivated team, leveraging industry best practices with Django and Django REST web frameworks.

4+ years of experience in web development with PythonExcellent knowledge of coding standards for Python2+ years of experience with Django and Django REST in client-facing projectsUnderstanding of the reasoning behind coding practices, rather than just the mechanics - being able to answer the question "why" alongside the "how"Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)Knowledge in HTML and JavaScriptGood knowledge in GitExperience with writing tests and documentationExperience with projects using Agile methodologiesTeamwork experienceGood communication skillsGood command of English (reading, writing, speaking)Nice to have :

Here’s what to expect from the interview process at Kin + Carta :
Intro Call with the Talent Team ( 30 mins ) – If your skills and experience match the role requirements, our Talent team will contact you to arrange a Zoom call. The aim of this call is to get to know you and for you to find out more about Kin + Carta. After this call, if we feel like you are a good match for the role, you’ll be invited to a First-stage interview.
First-Stage Interview (90 minutes) - This will be a Q&A-style interview lasting around 90 minutes. Apart from the conversational format, there'll also be a few tasks to assess your critical thinking and problem-solving. These tasks aim to understand your skills, experience, and motivations. You can also use this interview to ask us questions and learn more about us!
Making a Decision - Following the interview process, our hiring team will get together to discuss feedback and make a final decision. We aim to get back to you as soon as we possibly can!
