Job title : Care Assistant (Nights)

Salary : £12.82 per hour

Location : The Sandford Nursing Home, Church Stretton, Shropshire

Hours : Night Shifts available, permanent

The Role

As a Care Assistant, you will work within the nursing team assisting elderly residents with normal activities of daily life, promoting their independence and maintaining their dignity and respect.

You will assist residents with all aspects of everyday life. This will involve assisting with personal hygiene including washing and using the toilet, assistance with diet and nutritional requirements as well as helping the promotion and stimulation of mental and physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diet and nutritional requirements.
• Support promotion and stimulation of mental and physical activity.
• Work within the nursing team to provide quality care and maintain residents’ dignity and respect.
