Sous Chef - Prestigious Care Home, Basingstoke - Salary £34,590 + Excellent Benefits

Our client is Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Sous Chef with a background in either a care home or high end hospitality setting. You should have strong culinary skills, a passion for producing high-quality food, and excellent communication skills. A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum) is required, along with a flexible and adaptable approach.

• Leading a Great Team : Help supervise and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and efficient atmosphere where everyone can thrive.
• Ensuring Excellence : Maintain impeccable standards of food hygiene and safety, and contribute to efficient kitchen operations, including managing stock and reducing waste.
• Contributing to effective stock management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste to optimise kitchen costs.
