£3,641 - £3,963 (5.5 Hours per week, Term-time only)

At Crieff Primary, we believe team working and a friendly, supportive atmosphere create a happy school.

A new opportunity has arisen, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing individual, who has a positive and solution focused attitude to join our team, 5.5 hours per week, over 1 day - Monday.

The post shall be on a temporary fixed term basis, until 16 August 2026. Following this, a staff review shall take place to establish staffing for the following session.

You will support pupils individually and in small groups within our Intensive Support Provision, to help meet a range of complex learning needs and work closely with staff. You will also support children at break and lunchtimes, working with children to encourage active play and supervising wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity when supporting learners and their families, and work effectively within a team and on own initiative.

Qualifications / Skills

You will ideally have knowledge and experience of working with learners with a range of additional support needs and be interested in pursuing a career in an educational environment.

You will be motivated and interested in child development and keen to support learners to reach their full potential. Knowledge of a wide range of learning needs and how to foster positive relationships would be an advantage.

You will have excellent communication skills and a positive approach to working with children.
