Hours : 40 per week plus additional hours during busy periods

Role Overview
My Client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Service Manager with a strong focus on Aftermarket Sales . This is a unique opportunity to join my client's at the forefront of its expansion, reporting to the Group Service Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the service department and the management of a team of Agricultural Technicians , with support from a Service Administrator.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Customer Engagement : Greet customers, listen to their service needs, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Workforce Management : Coordinate and direct the service workload for maximum efficiency and productivity. Plan and allocate work based on technician skill sets, ensuring the quality and accuracy of all repair work.
- Operational Excellence : Supervise the workshop, maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment.
- Invoicing & Administration : Check all completed jobs for accuracy in parts and service and ensure timely invoicing.
- Team Leadership : Lead, supervise, and coach the workshop team. Coordinate and manage technician training programs in conjunction with the Group Service Manager.
- Business Relationships : Maintain professional relationships with manufacturer personnel.
- Talent Management : Contribute to the recruitment, hiring, and retention of key technical talent.
Required Skills & Experience :
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Service Technician.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with standard computer applications and a willingness to learn our proprietary systems.Familiarity with agricultural products and competing products is beneficial.Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business demands.Benefits Include :
