Are you a proactive, commercially minded professional with a passion for building strong client relationships? Spencer Clarke Group are working with a fast-growing organisation in the environmental services sector who are seeking an Account Executive to manage and grow relationships with their commercial clients. This is a client-facing, strategic role where your contribution directly drives account growth and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of existing commercial clients
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Monitor client accounts to ensure contractual obligations are met and coordinate with internal teams for seamless service delivery
- Identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling products or services, and prepare proposals / quotations
- Offer strategic advice by understanding client business needs and analysing market trends
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in all client dealings
- Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and support internal teams with account activity and invoicing queries
- Follow the full sales process "cradle to grave," supporting documentation and collections for all completed jobs
About you
Experience in account management, commercial sales, or client-facing roles within environmental services, waste management, or similar sectorsStrong understanding of commercial operations, regulations, and risk managementExcellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skillsProficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with CRM or ERP systems preferredAble to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environmentProactive, team-oriented, and strategic in your approachAbout the company
