Job Title : Operations Planner & Warehouse Operative (FLT)

Reports to : Depot Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an Operations Planner & Warehouse Operative to support the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of freight in and out of the Aberdeen depot. The role involves planning transport operations, coordinating drivers and vehicles, and carrying out warehouse duties including forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate the use of drivers, vehicles, and service providers to ensure efficient transport operations.

Handle inbound customer enquiries quickly and professionally, recording information accurately.

Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly to client needs.

Identify opportunities to improve service and communicate these to management.

Assist with loading / unloading vehicles, ensuring cargo is labelled, secured, and stored correctly.

Operate forklifts safely, carrying out pre-use checks and reporting any issues.

Keep accurate records of goods received and dispatched.

Support compliance with Health & Safety, security, and company procedures.

Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse and / or transport-related environment.
