Workshop Operative

We are looking for a Workshop Operative

Days - £12.50 an hour

Location : Wellington, Somerset - Must drive due to location and no public transport

Immediate start

Experience needed : Factory experience and previous hand-tool experience i.e sanding and drilling

Shift : 42 ½ hours per week. Monday - Thursday 07.30 - 17.00 Friday 08.00 - 15.00

Temp to perm contract

JDR is recruiting for a Workshop Operative to work in a manufacturing site in Wellington, Somerset.

The role :

• Sanding of welded products and parts ready to go in shot blaster.
• Quality Control of the product prior to shotblasting
• Operating the shot blaster to get the product ready for spraying.
• The cleaning off and assembly of castings and associated parts
• Any other general factory duties, assisting colleagues as required
