The Opportunity

Are you an organised, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual looking to be at the heart of a busy industrial operation? JDT, a leading name in aggregates and recycling, is seeking a dedicated Weighbridge Operator to join our dynamic team. You will be the central point of contact for our site, playing a crucial role in our daily success.

Your Role

As the first point of contact for all customers, drivers, and visitors, you will be the welcoming face of JDT. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our busy weighbridge, accurately recording all vehicles and materials entering and leaving the facility. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing essential paperwork such as waste transfer notes and delivery receipts, generating sales invoices, processing customer payments, and assisting with end-of-day financial reconciliation.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a weighbridge or a similar fast-paced administrative position where accuracy is paramount. You are a natural and confident communicator, capable of building positive relationships with a wide range of people while ensuring all site rules and safety procedures are clearly understood and followed. You are computer literate and have a strong customer focus. A First Aid or IOSH qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
