Maintenance Manager – £55,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead and develop a growing engineering team within a fast-paced production environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to make a real impact, with scope to build and shape the department as the business expands.

The Role :

Manage and support a team of Engineers (currently 2, with plans for rapid growth).

Provide technical guidance on mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Work closely with Production Managers to deliver effective PPM schedules and ensure smooth operations.

Organise call-out rotas and coordinate engineering support across multiple shifts.

Take an active role in recruitment, setting KPIs, and team development.

Drive continuous improvement, safety, and compliance across the site.

The Candidate :

Proven leadership and team management experience.

Strong background in maintenance engineering with relevant qualifications.

Experience in a process-driven environment.

A firm but fair management style, motivated by coaching and developing others.

Package & Benefits :

£55,000 per annum (review pending)

Standard pension + sick pay

28 days holiday (including bank holidays, Christmas & New Year off)

Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (42.5 hours per week)
