gap healthcare is working with a large- sized charity organisation that supports children and young people on the edge of care, in care, and leaving care. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead two solo therapeutic services in Bury St Edmunds, providing high-quality residential care and fostering a trauma-informed environment where young people can thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader to make a lasting impact on the lives of children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and management for residential services, creating a nurturing, inclusive environment
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and all legislative requirements
- Lead and develop a trauma-informed team to support young people who have experienced multiple placement breakdowns
- Oversee care planning, risk management, and safeguarding procedures
- Build strong partnerships with families, social workers, mental health professionals, and other external agencies
- Manage resources effectively, including staff rotas, budgets, and staff development
