Special Needs TeacherSheffield, S25£162 - £223 per dayStart date : ASAPContract type : Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placementWorking hours : Monday – Friday, term time onlyUnique School Solutions are supporting a Special Needs provision in the S25 area of Sheffield, who are needing a SEND Teacher to work in KS3. You will be teaching students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within the classroom, with the support of specialist Teaching Assistants. You will be expected to plan, mark and deliver all subjects across the Key Stage 3 curriculum, in accordance with the National Curriculum and SEND Code of Practice, as well as fulfill all other teaching duties such as parents evenings and internal meetings within school.The role is to start ASAP, working full-time Mondays to Fridays, and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.About the school : - Specialist provision supporting students aged 7-16 with SEMH- Diverse community which the school serves- Supportive and well organised leadership teamEssential requirements for the role : - PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- KS3 curriculum knowledge across all subjects- Experience working in a Special Needs School or Alternative Provision, preferably with students with SEMH- TeamTeach trained- The ability to plan, deliver and mark KS3 schemes of work in line with National Curriculum stand...
