Overview

Join Our Team as a Children Support Worker. TeamCare Healthcare is currently recruiting dedicated Children’s Support Workers to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support vulnerable children with Complex Needs - Physical, helping them gain independence and positively impacting their daily lives.

Responsibilities

  • Support, safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour
  • Manage complex behaviours and provide crisis intervention
  • Support educational development and assist with personal care as needed
  • Help children gain independence and participate in daily activities

Qualifications

  • Must be over 21 years old and have the right to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 6 months post-qualification experience in a children’s / young adult setting
  • Good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Clear enhanced DBS (application available upon registration)
