Product Support Advisor - Liners & Covers Division (Fixed Term Contract)

Certikin International is looking for a Product Support Advisor to join our busy Liners & Covers Division on a 6-12 month fixed term contract basis to help deliver further growth. Certikin International is a brand leader that delivers everything that is required to build, refurbish & maintain residential and commercial swimming pools and spa / wellness centers. Based in our Head Office in Witney, Oxfordshire the successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with technical enquiries, specifying products and providing quotations on liners & covers for pools and providing a high level of customer service.

The job includes :

Liaising with customers and building lasting relationships

Handling all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature, promptly and effectively

Providing both written and verbal quotations where necessary for products relating to the Liners & Covers Division

Dealing with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing department

Receiving and inputting telephone and email orders as a result of quotations as a result of technical advice and / or quotations

Accompanying Divisional Management or other colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriate

Occasionally attending Trade Shows and Company-led seminars

Liaising with External Sales Executives

Promoting product initiatives and assisting in promoting designated lines

Maintaining product knowledge in order to influence and develop sales, as well as upselling products

Providing documentation as required by the customer such as product specification

Maintaining knowledge of the in-house system to effectively deal with enquiries regarding delivery and availability.

What will you bring to the role?

Previous experience of working in the Swimming Pool industry would be desirable but not essential

Technical skills, practical thinking and a strong sales focus

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of account management, or previous sales experience would be advantageous

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Problem solving and analytical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft software

Ability to function in a high-paced environment.
