Main duties of the job
- As an ACP, you will receive comprehensive support to increase your knowledge base and upskill in all thing's endocrinology.
- Perform clinical patient reviews and management within your scope of practice.
- Run independent clinics and manage patient pathways and care, with a willingness to develop expertise in congenital hypothyroidism.
- Engage in teaching, non-medical prescribing, and research in relation to endocrinology conditions.
- Maintain databases and provide both acute and long-term care for complex endocrinology patients.
- Develop clinical protocols and care pathways.
- Contribute to evidence-based clinical practice through research, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in delivering education both internally and externally.
- Engagement in both national and international initiatives.
- Provide advanced clinical care, including health assessments, treatment initiation, and monitoring of care programmes.
- Offer expert clinical leadership, advice, and support to ensure high-quality nursing and medical care.
- You are a highly skilled clinician with a passion for providing exceptional care to children and young people with endocrinology conditions.
- You are committed to continuous learning and development and capable of working autonomously as well as part of a dynamic team.
