Job descriptionCollaborate with stakeholders to identify cryptographic needs Conduct security assessments & penetration testing Implement & monitor cryptographic solutions aligned with standards Develop training & technical documentation Manage cryptography service operations globally Advocate security controls & best practices Communicate complex ideas to technical & non-technical audiences Influence decision-making & risk mitigation Ensure compliance with policies & industry standards Resolve issues using technical expertise Act as a key contact for internal & external stakeholders
Join Barclays as a Cryptography Analyst , where you’ll strengthen cryptographic infrastructure by designing, implementing, and maintaining PKI & HSM solutions to support encryption, authentication, and digital signing across global operations. You’ll also help embed resilience for evolving security needs, including the post-quantum landscape.
Key Skills & Experience :
- Certificate Management (Venafi, Digicert, Sectigo)
- HSMs (Thales, Entrust) for secure key storage
- OS Expertise (Linux / Unix, Windows) for cryptographic management
- Incident Response – Handling cryptographic breaches
- Compliance Knowledge – NIST, FIPS, ISO27001 / 27002
Key Responsibilities :
This role is based in Knutsford and requires 24 / 7 global on-call support .
