Job descriptionPlan and deliver high-quality Year 3 lessons with clear progression and differentiated tasks. Implement targeted interventions informed by assessment and monitor their impact on progress. Work collaboratively with support staff to scaffold learning and meet diverse pupil needs. Communicate progress effectively to parents and participate in reporting cycles across Barking. Contribute to wider school activities and support transition into Key Stage 2. Qualified teacher with recent KS2 experience and demonstrable Year 3 impact. Good knowledge of assessment practice phonics progression and maths pedagogy. Enthusiastic reflective and ready to join the Barking school community in January 2026.

Wayman Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Barking to appoint a committed Year 3 Teacher. The Year 3 Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons run short-term interventions track pupil progress and contribute to the year-group planning cycle. This Year 3 Teacher post begins January 2026 and the successful candidate will take part in induction and planning sessions before January 2026 to ensure a confident start.

About the role
The Year 3 Teacher will plan daily lessons that secure key skills in reading writing and maths deliver guided reading and targeted maths support and use assessment evidence to adapt teaching. The Year 3 Teacher will work closely with colleagues to moderate outcomes and share effective practice across the Barking partnership.
