Job Title : Warehouse Operative
Location : Sandwich, Kent
Salary : £27,000 per annum
Shifts : Rotating Days & Nights – 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am
Important : You must have a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to shift patterns and site location.
Position Overview :
This role involves preparing finished goods for shipment – including packing, wrapping, and labelling – as well as ensuring the production line is stocked with necessary raw materials.
Key Duties :
- Carry out hands-on production tasks, including lifting (up to 25kg), packaging, taping, and labelling.
- Operate a forklift to transport goods around the premises.
- Flag any issues with materials or quality to the Shift Supervisor.
- Accurately fill out and manage packing documentation.
- Keep the work area organised and ensure machinery and tools are clean.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Take on additional responsibilities when required.
