The Role
As a FinOps Consultant, you will be responsible for helping organisations in their adoption cloud technology to help them extract as much value as possible out of their cloud(s). You'll advise clients on cloud economics, best practises around reservation management strategies and how to increase their overall FinOps maturity to get them to “run” in cloud.
This role is to be customer centric, always looking to see what can be done to bring further value to our customers and working with other teams such as Solutions Architects, technical consultants and engineers to bring the best possible outcomes for the customer.
The expectation is that you’ll be able to look at their cloud holistically, taking into considerations different technical and commercial levers to reduce unnecessary spend. Working with your customers, you will act as if their spend is your spend.
Key responsibilities include leading work streams, producing high-quality deliverables and being a subject matter aspect in all things Cloud Cost and Usage.
