We’re recruiting a Corporate Tax Manager – Financial Services in Edinburgh on behalf of a leading and specialist accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a CA-qualified tax professional to lead investment fund tax compliance, provide strategic advisory support, and play a central role in growing specialist tax services within a high-performing team.

The Role

As Corporate Tax Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of investment fund clients, ensuring compliance with both partnership and corporate tax filings. You will advise clients on fund structuring, including the establishment of new funds and remuneration arrangements for investment fund managers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of investment fund tax compliance, covering partnership and corporate tax filings
• Advising clients on fund structuring, establishment of new funds, and manager remuneration
• Collaborating with wider tax teams on direct tax, international tax, transfer pricing, VAT, R&D, and other advisory matters
• Supporting the Audit team on technical requirements and legislative regimes for listed and regulated funds
• Growing specialist tax services in investment funds, ensuring technical knowledge is applied and shared internally and externally
• Line management of team members, overseeing people and/or operational performance

You will work closely with clients and internal teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery while keeping up to date with developments in the financial services tax landscape.

About You

You will be CA-qualified (or equivalent) with relevant experience in financial services tax or a similar specialist tax environment.

You’ll demonstrate:

• Strong technical awareness in corporate and partnership tax, with a particular focus on private funds
• Leadership skills, taking ownership of your work and supporting the professional growth of your team
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to positively influence colleagues and clients
• A collaborative, team-focused approach, committed to delivering outstanding client service
• Experience with tax software, including AlphaTax and CCH, is desirable

You are proactive, commercially aware, and motivated to grow specialist tax services within a dynamic and client-focused environment.
