Rougemont School seeks to appoint a well qualified and engaging Psychology and Sociology – Subject Lead to provide maternity cover from September 2026 to May 2027.
Over the past two and half years the role has grown significantly. What began as delivering Psychology to the Sixth Form has expanded to include Sociology from Year 10, reflecting strong pupil interest and successful subject development. Both subjects are established and continue to attract a healthy uptake.
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the academic leadership and day to day management of both subjects, ensuring high standards of teaching, strong pupil outcomes and continued curriculum development during the maternity cover period.
In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Subject Lead will teach across the relevant year groups and contribute fully to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the School.
