About the Role

Our client is a global professional services powerhouse, operating at massive scale across strategy, consulting, technology, and operations. They work with the world’s largest banks, governments, and institutions to modernise core platforms that underpin national and global financial systems.

This role sits within their Banking Transformation practice, focused on the migration of SAP Banking Services 9 to SAP S/4HANA Transactional Banking (TRBK). These are not pilot projects or proofs of concept. This is enterprise-grade transformation, delivered at scale, for major banking clients.

You will be trusted with real responsibility from day one, working directly with senior client stakeholders and leading critical parts of complex SAP Core Banking programmes.

Flexibility and mobility are required, as client presence is a key part of how this organisation delivers outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading SAP S/4HANA Transactional Banking (TRBK) transformation programmes for major banking clients.
• Driving platform consolidation, data migration, and process harmonisation across legacy and modern banking estates.
• Acting as a recognised SAP Core Banking subject matter expert within large, multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Defining target-state architectures covering deposits, lending, payments, and account management.
• Designing and deploying SAP Core Banking components including TRBK, Payments Central, and SAP Fioneer solutions.
• Working closely with senior business and IT stakeholders in Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, and Payments.
• Leading application design and development activity, owning delivery quality and outcomes.
• Mentoring consultants and helping grow the SAP Banking capability within the wider transformation practice.
• Supporting sales and pre-sales activity by shaping credible, value-led SAP Core Banking solutions.

You will bring:

• Deep hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Core Banking and Transactional Banking (TRBK).
• Proven involvement in SAP Core Banking upgrades or migrations, ideally within large banking environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Payments Central, Product Factory, and Business Partner integration.
• Experience leading technical design and contributing to cross-team architectural decisions.
• Confidence working in complex, client-facing delivery environments.
• Understanding of banking regulations, risk, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the credibility to operate at senior stakeholder level.

Nice to have:

• SAP ABAP for HANA.
• SAP Fioneer solutions.
• Exposure to platforms such as Temenos, Mambu, or Thought Machine.
• Agile delivery experience (SAP Activate, SAFe).
