Role Summary

We are recruiting a Purchasing Manager Halal Meat (Beef, Lamb, Poultry) on behalf of a well-established organisation within the halal food industry. This is a hybrid role based at the Oxford head office and offers the chance to combine procurement management with B2B sales development. It is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with deep knowledge of halal meat supply chains to play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and building lasting supplier relationships, while also driving wholesale business growth.

Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

Oversee the full procurement cycle for beef, lamb, and poultry.

Build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships across the halal sector.

Negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing and consistent quality.

Ensure all products meet halal certification, food safety, and traceability standards.

Forecast seasonal demand and plan procurement strategies using sales data.
