Job description

Overview

This position will be responsible for supporting our Parts Department's efforts by acting as the voice of the customer and acting as a liaison between the Hussmann parts team and factory to satisfy customer requests and resolve issues. The Customer Service Representative must ensure that customer specifications and requests are met by entering, collecting, forwarding, and troubleshooting problems/issues as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for outbound communications with customers regarding their warranty orders, effectively managing customer interactions and clearly communicating customer requirements to internal teams.
  • Documenting and reporting findings/feedback on customer follow‑up contacts to leadership; identifying problems/trends and presenting resolutions/improvements.
  • Monitoring, expediting and following up on order changes, specialty and delayed shipment items.
  • Processing invoicing and credit requests as necessary, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to process.
  • Utilizing Hussmann’s Parts Oracle System to capture customer information, generate proposals and monitor order processing.
  • Communicating issues related to product delivery with customers to ensure accurate and acceptable transaction completion.
  • Working with Parts Representatives to monitor the shipment process of orders.
  • Assisting in maintaining the integrity of customer and transaction data.
  • Assisting in maintaining the integrity of information for the Warranty Parts Ordering and Tracking Systems.
  • Monitoring and maintaining processes/workload related to freight claims and returns.
  • Working in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple projects and flexing to business needs based on additional assignments.
  • Acting as the voice of the customer (VOC) and holding the Performance Parts Team accountable to provide best‑in‑class products and service.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum 0‑2 years of customer service experience.
  • Flexible to work outside normal working hours and weekends.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Work effectively in a diverse team and fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities/tasks in a fast‑paced work environment with high attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to meet short‑ and long‑term deadlines.
  • Bi‑lingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
