Salary: £32,381 – £36,353 + bonus & benefits (OTE £36,412 – £40,603, higher with overtime)


Pertemps are recruiting for a Drainage Investigation Engineer for a UK leader in drainage, water mains and subsidence services.


Package & Hours

• Salary £32,381 – £36,353 (DOE) + annual bonus £2,000–£2,500
• 5.5% pension contribution
• Optional weekend overtime at 1.5x (OTE up to £42,700)
• 42.5 hrs, Mon–Fri, no on-call
• Door-to-door pay – travel time included
• 22 days AL + 8 bank hols (rising to 25)

The Role

• Investigate drainage systems and recommend repairs
• Identify ownership and cause of issues
• Communicate findings to customers
• Complete trial holes, soil/root sampling
• Work with Field Operations and fellow engineers

Preferred Experience

• CCTV drainage surveys & CAT scanning
• Surface reinstatement (paving/tarmac/concrete)
• Small pipework repairs

• Customer-focused, practical problem solver
• Self-motivated with high work standards
• Full UK driving licence & clear DBS required
