CleanTech Talent are hiring for a Consultant or Senior level Environmental Consultant with an ecology background seeking to move away from the weekly onsite work and travel.
This is for a long-standing reputable client supporting the renewable energy sector, infrastructure, ports & harbours and more in Scotland.

You will be joining the highly respected team to assist in the delivery of onsite environmental and ecological auditing and an advisory role mainly on renewable energy and road infrastructure projects across Scotland. You will work closely with colleagues, and industry partners in other technical disciplines, to assist in the delivery of project work.
Key Responsibilities
Project management of construction & ecology based projectsContinue developing your ecology experience across habitats and reportingSupport the construction support services team with projects across ScotlandCollaborate with project stakeholdersManaging and communicating with key stakeholders whilst encouraging a high level of environmental protectionUsing Microsoft Word and Excel, digital photography and infield technologyOperate in a variety of environments such as remote areas or operational construction sitesSupporting office management and administrative tasksKey Competencies
4+ years relevant industry experience within consulting, project management, ecology or similar disciplinesUnder / postgraduate degree in Ecology, Environmental Management or a related disciplineExperience of working under Scottish and / or UK legislationDesireable : Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and / or of the Association of Environmental and Ecological Clerks of Works (AEECoW)Confident in habitat and protected species ecologyAn understanding of current environmental legislation, policy trends, guidance and regulatory frameworksThe ability to work as a team and individuallyGood time management and record keepingA full UK drivers licenceThe ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle safely is desirable.What's in it for you
