Housing Options and Homeless Prevention Officer – Hillingdon

iPeople SC Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Housing Options and Homeless Prevention Officers to work for our client based in Hillingdon and surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Completing assessments and carrying out respective prevention and relief work.
• Managing a varied caseload Knowledge of Part VII Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act and other relevant legislation.
• Carrying out homelessness enquires, casework and drafting s184 decision letters.
• Candidates will be required to demonstrate they have practical experience of delivering in a pressurised Housing Options Services and is manage the multiple demands and pressures of the service.

Requirement :

Working Hours : Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.00pm – Hybrid working welcomed once office-based induction period is completed.

Only candidates with previous experience within local authorities and knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act will be considered.
