Job Description
United Infrastructure is looking for a Project Controls Manager to support the delivery of complex energy infrastructure works within our Infrastructure Services division . This role involves collaborating with technical and commercial teams to ensure projects are effectively planned, tracked, and delivered in line with contractual and operational objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
Programme Oversight : Lead the development, monitoring, and regular updates of integrated project schedules to support efficient planning and delivery.Performance Reporting : Manage reporting processes and lead key review sessions, tracking KPIs and project performance across multiple workstreams.Cost & Forecast Management : Work with the wider commercial team to ensure budgets, forecasts, commitments, and variances are accurately maintained and clearly reported.Data Analysis & Trend Monitoring : Monitor deviations and identify potential issues before they impact delivery. Produce timely progress reports, schedule updates, and analytical dashboards.Collaborative Planning : Coordinate with project planners, engineers, and commercial leads to ensure alignment on baseline schedules and progress targets.Risk & Change Management : Support the development and maintenance of project risk registers and change logs. Use scenario analysis tools where applicable to assess risks.Team Support & Leadership : Provide guidance to planners and cost controllers, ensuring consistency in reporting standards and controls across all energy contracts.Join us to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to the UK’s infrastructure needs.
Qualifications
Required :
A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and delivering detailed performance reporting to senior stakeholders.Additionally, we’re looking for :
Strong experience in project controls roles, particularly within infrastructure, utilities, or energy projects.Proficient in planning software, especially Primavera P6.Ability to interpret technical data and present insights that support strategic decisions.Comfortable managing competing deadlines across multi-phase programmes.Familiarity with cost and schedule integration, and a good grasp of coding structures and control systems.Confidence leading discussions, facilitating meetings, and working closely with delivery teams and clients.Seniority level
