Dynamix Group is a small and successful business in which we take great pride in designing, manufacturing and installing innovative shop displays for leading UK retailers nationwide! With business booming we are now actively looking for a Bench Joiner to join the team.

Job Description

The Bench Joiners day to day duties will be to build retail displays and furniture. This will include understanding technical drawings, materials, sizes, colours and finishes. Ensure competent usage of machinery, equipment and tools. You will need to manage your own consumables usage, taking care to utilise all components.

Bench Joiners have their own work stations and will be responsible for their own workload and quality control.

Key Skills

Great attention to detail.

Be able to read and understand technical drawings.

Great communication skills

To work well alone and as part of a team.

Willing to take part in further training to improve personal and company skills & efficiency.

NVQ 2 / 3 in Carpentry and Bench Joinery.

At least 3 years joinery experience.

Solid surface experience 1+ year would be advantageous but not essential.

Experienced in furniture making.

CNC operation desirable.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. Overtime offered if the business requires with an increased hourly rate.

Pay

The pay rate is £13.50 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience and skill set.
