As a Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with autism both inside and outside of the classroom. Through physical activity and structured routines, you will help pupils develop confidence, self‑regulation, and positive engagement with learning.

What we re looking for

We are seeking a Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant who :

• Holds a degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Psychology, Education, or a related subject
• Has a genuine interest in supporting pupils with autism aged 7 16
• Is patient, calm, and naturally nurturing
• Can build trusting, positive relationships with children and staff
• Communicates clearly and adapts to different learning and communication needs
• Is enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated to develop within a specialist education setting
• Experience with autism or SEN is desirable but not essential
