Financial Accountant

Reports To : Head of Finance

Salary : Up to £45,000 / year

Working pattern : Hybrid (3 days required in the office)

Robert Half is proudly working with an established professional services firm to recruit for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain strong financial controls and assist with process improvements and automation.
• Collaborate with teams across actuarial, underwriting, and claims to interpret financial data.
• Assist in managing insurance accounts, premium taxes, and reinsurance reporting.
• Contribute to year-end audits, statutory reporting, business planning, and regulatory filings.
• Participate in cross-functional projects as a representative of the finance team.
